Play Scotland is delighted to publish Children, Young People and Placemaking in Scotland: a literature and policy review. The review draws together how children and young people’s rights relate to place, and how and why children and young people should be further involved in place-based decision-making. Some or all of these issues also affect young adults aged 18-25, particularly with regard to young people that have additional support needs. We firstly map the relationship between children and young people and the places they grow up in, alongside key policy areas, frameworks, and further evidence in Scotland.
