We are thrilled to announce that we are moving to the next phase of the Play Pedagogy Award. We are opening the Award to a wider audience, and we would be delighted for your school to be part of this exciting next phase!
About the Award
The Play Pedagogy Award has been developed by Play Scotland working closely with Education Scotland. It will recognise and support the efforts of schools to embed play in their practice and ethos.
The Award aims to celebrate and promote a whole school approach to play pedagogy. It has been designed to empower and support educators to nurture creativity and foster a school culture where play is at the heart of every child’s learning journey.
We are offering 10 to 15 places starting in January 2025, with additional opportunities available every few months thereafter. As spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, we encourage you to get in touch as soon as possible, especially as there is a waiting list of schools eager to participate.
How much does it cost?
The cost for participation is £950 per school, which covers all aspects of the Award, including:
- The comprehensive Award handbook
- Ongoing guidance and support from our Award Advisors
- Access to our exclusive participants-only online learning resources
- Upon successful completion, a certificate, the Award itself, and a banner for display outside your school
Understanding that budget considerations are important, we are happy to offer the option to split the payment into two or three instalments if that would be helpful for your school.
This is a wonderful opportunity to enhance your school’s play-based pedagogy and demonstrate your commitment to providing high-quality learning through play.
How do I sign up?
Join us in shaping a future where every child has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive through play.
